Special machine, with automatic clamping of cardan flanges, with several welding posts, with the PAK-4 balancing system

The machine is designed for balancing in serial production of various 2-, 3- and 4-bearing cardan shafts, up to 4200 mm in length and weighing from 3 to 150 kg.

The accuracy of balancing is 5 gmm / kg.

The unbalance measuring cycle of the dardan shaft is performed automatically simultaneously in 4 (2 or 3) correction planes. The approximate time of the unbalance measurement cycle taking into account the acceleration and deceleration time of the cardan shaft is 11 ... 25 seconds.

The movable spindle support is provided with its own movement mechanism on the ball guides for providing auxiliary motion during the installation / removal of the cardan shaft. Tapping of the support with the movement mechanism along the bed allows the installation of 3- and 4-bearing cardan shafts of any design on the machine within the overall shaft size.

Unbalance elimination method - welding the correction weights (plates) by contact welding. The machine is equipped with welding clamps in an amount corresponding to the number of correction points (specified in the RS).

The left spindle support is stationary, drive; the right spindle support and the intermediate supports are movable.

Fastening of the cardan shaft flanges in the adapters is performed automatically by pneumatic-mechanical cartridges. The clamping chuck provides the basis and reliable clamping of the cardan shafts with flange dimensions in the range up to 125 mm. For each type of flange, a centering adapter is manufactured according to the specification.

Asynchronous variable-frequency electric drive allows infinitely variable speed control without stopping the motor, selection of optimal modes for balancing, as well as additional turn in the place of balancing plate welding.

Additional turn of the cardan shaft to the place of correctional weights welding for each plane is carried out automatically by pressing the button on the corresponding support.

To ensure safe working conditions machine is equipped with:

protective staples with pneumatic drive - to prevent the shaft and its elements from ejecting when hinges or splines are broken;

spindle rotation engagement locks during their fixation and when pulling the welding pliers.

The machine is equipped with: a sectional protective guard of the propshaft, to protect against a possible ejection, when the shaft rotates, poorly fixed correction weights, lubrication from bearings, etc. The guard is equipped with a spindle rotation engagement lock when the protection is not closed.
