    Machine design

    • An alternative to the “belt drive” is the “axial drive,” which uses a cardan shaft that is capable of transmitting high torque from the motor to the rotor. Such a drive is used for parts having high aerodynamic resistance or design features (for example, screws). The axial drive of all machine tools of the 9D series is equipped with a full-fledged tailstock.
